Beta Strategy Group

Beta Strategy Group (BSG) was founded in January of 2006 and is located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.  BSG’s clients include Fortune 500 organizations, entrepreneurs, governments and municipalities and not-for-profits.  In serving its clients, BSG delivers three principle business lines, namely, strategic economic development and technology services; the design and development of emergency notification systems (ENS); and the commercialization of new business technologies, like those developed in Children’s Technology Workshop (CTW) and Nutek™.

Recent developments from BSG include the design of Munisync, a wireless infrastructure deployed for synchronizing City operations and the economic development efforts of college-campuses and communities. This highly-innovative technology service has been implemented in Painesville, Ohio, and Maple Heights, Ohio with the intention of helping many more communities.  BSG’s economic development work in Mayfield Village also recently earned the prestigious Cuyahoga County Innovation Award.

Additionally, BSG has been heavily involved in developing cutting-edge ENS for college campuses and complex City universities.  The events of April 16, 2007 at Virginia Tech were followed by an increased level of activity on campuses across the nation, as colleges and universities conducted internal assessments of emergency procedures, notification systems and policies related to student behavior.  BSG ties its ENS practice directly to the safety portion of its government technology services offering.
